Who we are
Keel is a technology platform operated by Wildcard Design, a business registered in India. We provide independent creative professionals with tools to generate AI-assisted project proposals and collect advance payments from their clients. Our platform is accessible at www.keelapp.in. What data we collect and why
We collect only the data necessary to operate the platform. We do not collect data speculatively or for purposes beyond what is described here.
Data you provide when you register
Your full legal name, email address, PAN, and bank account details (account number and IFSC code). We collect this to verify your identity, process payouts to your linked bank account, issue GST-compliant invoices, and maintain records required under Indian tax and financial regulations.
Data you provide when creating a proposal
Project details including the nature of services, scope, timeline, pricing, and your client's name and email address. We collect this to generate your proposal and deliver it to your client via a protected proposal link. We use aggregated, anonymised versions of this data to improve the platform's AI proposal generation. We do not use identifiable proposal content for any purpose other than delivering your proposal.
Data generated through platform use
Transaction records, proposal view events, payment capture confirmations, platform fee invoices, and account activity logs. We collect this to operate the platform, generate your income summary, issue tax invoices, and detect fraud or misuse.
Data we collect automatically
Standard server log data including IP address, browser type, device type, and pages accessed. We collect this for platform security and performance monitoring only.

How long we keep your data
Transaction records & tax invoices
8 years from the date of the transaction, in compliance with Indian tax and financial recordkeeping requirements.
e-FIRA documents
7 years from the date of the transaction, for international transactions.
Proposal content & client data
Deleted 90 days after the proposal link expires, unless associated with a completed transaction — in which case retained 8 years as part of the transaction record.
Account data
Retained for the duration of your account and for 5 years following account closure, to meet regulatory obligations.
Server logs
Deleted after 90 days.

Your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023
As a data principal under the DPDPA 2023, you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data Keel holds about you and the purposes for which it is being processed.
- Correct any personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to Keel's legal obligations to retain certain records.
- Grievance redressal — you may raise any data-related grievance with our Grievance Officer at contact@keelapp.in. We will acknowledge your query within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@keelapp.in with the subject line "Data Rights Request" and a description of your request. We will respond within 7 business days.

Data storage and localisation
All payment system data and transaction records are stored within India, in compliance with the RBI's data localisation requirements. Platform data is hosted on cloud infrastructure located in India. We do not transfer payment data outside India.
Proposal content and account data may be processed on infrastructure operated by third-party service providers. Where any such processing occurs outside India, we ensure appropriate contractual safeguards are in place.

Cookies and tracking
We use only essential cookies necessary to operate the platform — for session management, authentication, and security. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that share your data with external parties. You cannot disable essential cookies without affecting your ability to use the platform.

Children
The Keel platform is intended for use by adults aged 18 and above operating as independent professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us at contact@keelapp.in and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Where changes are material — affecting the categories of data we collect, the purposes for which we use it, or your rights — we will notify you by email to your registered address at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
